About

I am a consultant and former litigation attorney who supports clients in resolving and avoiding actual or potential disputes through mechanisms not found within traditional dispute resolution processes. I will no longer prosecute or defend claims as your litigation counsel, but I will help you navigate the most direct path from conflict to opportunity. I also help clients understand formal dispute resolution, its costs and benefits and common pitfalls in order to preserve paths for resolution without compromising negotiation leverage.

As an attorney, I built my own niche legal practice and firm to allow the freedom to think about disputes differently. I slowly became less aligned to the machinations of litigation and arbitration as the most effective or efficient means to achieve desired business outcomes. Every conflict derives from human emotion, yet this is not integrated within formal litigation or arbitration processes. But it can be. Today I bring practical experience, legal expertise, intuition and deep discernment to support clients in seeing through each issue or dispute to the underlying human emotion and limiting beliefs. I help clients identify, understand and resolve disputes at their source while defining real objectives and aligning strategies to desired outcomes. I also offer practical pre-litigation advice and support in selecting counsel, negotiating rates, aligning incentives through alternative fee arrangements, identifying strategies for managing litigation or arbitration processes and otherwise positioning clients to efficiently realize desired outcomes early.
